Thank you for your generous support of the 2026 I'll Make Me a World in Iowa, which is Iowa's African American Festival. We are looking forward to an awesome 28th Anniversary Celebration and outreach initiatives. We want to once again express our sincere appreciation to you for partnering with us in presenting a World of Culture, Education, Resources and Belonging here in our state Iowa.

I'll Make Me a World in Iowa Features Three Events This Year:

A Mini Film Fest: Feb. 6, 5:30 - 8:30 PM, Fleur Cinema https://www.worldiniowa.org/filmfest
Education Day: Feb. 7, 9:00 AM - 2 PM, Horizon Events Center https://www.worldiniowa.org/education-day
Celebration Day: Feb. 7, 12:00 PM - 7 PM, Horizon Events Center https://www.worldiniowa.org/celebration-day

Sponsors will be acknowledged throughout all of these events from stage and with signage. We would be honored to have your presence at as many of these events as you are able.

Film Fest Attendance: Please list any representatives that will be present at the film fest. We will acknowledge them on screen and by asking them to stand during the event at approximately 6:45 PM.

Education Day: We will ask a sponsor representatives to join us on stage during our 9 AM Opening Session. Attendance will be 300 - 500 students and educators. Please let us know who your representative will be:

Celebration Day: At 2:15 PM, right before our headliner, Sponsor representatives will receive their Sponsorship Award. Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsors will speak for 30 - 60 seconds. Please let us know who your representative will be:

As part of your sponsorship premium booth space has been reserved for you for both Education Day and Celebration Day. Please read the Exhibitor Guidelines. They include exhibitor logistical information.

Swag Bag Items: We are in need of items to add to 500 bags for our students. If you would like to provide branded items like trinkets, pens, pencils, pads, prepackaged snacks, etc. please let us know. We would need the items by Friday Feb. 6 at 10 AM.

Volunteers: If you can to provide volunteers 8:30 - 11:30 AM to assist with our Black History Game show (judges or score keepers) or the College Simulator (hosts - we will provide a short script) please provide their name, phone and email below.
